Wine estate in Saint-Émilion · The Feytit family
Château Tour Grand Faurie The Estate
In the heart of the Saint-Émilion vineyards, Château Tour Grand Faurie is above all a story of family, heritage and passion. Since 1949, the Feytit family has tended its vines with exacting care to produce organic Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wines, true to their terroir.
A family story since 1949
An estate handed down from generation to generation.
From the old Clos Grand Faurie to today's organic wines, each generation of the Feytit family has helped shape the identity of Château Tour Grand Faurie.

The Clos Grand Faurie
Long before its current name, the property was called Clos Grand Faurie and was run by the Dusseaut family. The Feytit great-grandparents worked the vines there as farm labourers, with rigour and courage.

Pierre Feytit, the first vines
The founding figure of the family, Pierre Feytit bought his first plots in Saint-Émilion, at the place known as Petit Val. His work was quickly recognised: his employer sold him an additional plot in Saint-Georges-Saint-Émilion. The Feytit family's roots in the vineyard had taken hold.

Gérard and Elisabeth Feytit
Gérard Feytit inherited the first vines and worked them with his wife Elisabeth. During the Second World War, it was the grandmother who kept the vineyard going: a story of resilience, hard work and deep attachment to the land.

The birth of Château Tour Grand Faurie
The Feytit family bought the Grand Faurie property: the house, the winery and several hectares of vines in Saint-Émilion. Château Tour Grand Faurie was born — and has never stopped growing since.

An estate in constant evolution
New plots enlarged the vineyard from the 1960s onwards. The family built the vat room, extended the winery and improved the facilities: a constant drive to progress and to raise the profile of Saint-Émilion wine.

Isabelle and Franck Feytit
Isabelle and Franck took over the family estate. They modernised the equipment, developed sales and opened a wine shop in Saint-Émilion to share their wines and those of the region — between tradition and modernity.

Organic farming and online sales
The estate began its conversion to organic farming and launched its online shop: Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wine bought directly from the producer, delivered throughout France. A key step in staying close to our customers.

Certified organic agriculture
Organic certification sealed a strong choice: preserving the terroir, respecting biodiversity and producing more natural, expressive wines in step with today's environmental challenges. The estate now produces organic Saint-Émilion Grand Cru wines.

Opening of the gîte “Le Magnolia”
The estate opened its gîte, “Le Magnolia”, in the heart of the vines. An invitation to stay on the property, between visits, tastings and the gentle pace of life a stone's throw from Saint-Émilion.
